CastCoverz!; From Accident To Fashion Statement

Annette Giacomazzi admits to be a serial entrepreneur but her first major success is her “ accidental creation that goes by the name “ CastCoverz!. She candidly describes her hit invention “an accidental creation with fashionable results” CastCoverz! Are a line of fun and well crafted products to cover casts and braces. They are not only functional but are also fashionable, protecting the surrounding skin of the affected area from irritation, and keeping orthotic devices clean. CastCoverz!are also removable and interchangeable to one of the many designs available. They are also fully washable and can be reused.

Giacomazzi drew inspiration for creating CastCoverz!when her then 10 year old daughter, Elli, broke her 6th bone and received a rather unattractive cast. Her AHA! moment  came as a thought of creating fun and stylish cast covers. . As the great mother she is, Giacomazzi made a cover and a matching sling for her injury. The handmade sets did not stop at one set, more came after.

The sets she made received a host of great compliments. Since she has experience in research from her previous entrepreneurial attempts, she applied her knowledge and saw a window of opportunity to market her creation. According to her research, she discovered that there are nearly 4,000,000 fractures in the US, alone. Giacomazzi saw the need in the market that needed to be filled, thus CastCoverz!was came into being. “Why do necessary medical products have to be so dull and unappealing?”, she even said.

CastCoverz!has already extended its line and now offers Armz!, Slingz!, Sleeperz!, and Splintz!all in great designs.
