2010 YWCA Great Falls ‘s Salute to Women honors 6 women
Celebrating 20 years of great work and making difference, the YWCA Great Falls’ Salute to Women once again named 6 women who has demonstrated excellence in different fields, promoted community leadership and showcased their exemplary works as woman leaders working to improve on women’s issues in Great Falls. Lindsay Love, a board member of YWCA Great Falls said that the Salute to Women “ wonderful opportunity for our organization to highlight some of the positive and inspiring work that is happening here in Great Falls”. She continues to say that the program is directed mainly to recognize the different women who work to make Great Falls “a better place”.
The women recognized and the categories YMCA chose them for are as follows. The women included in the list were chosen because of their dedication and excellence in their respective fields.
Volunteer and Community Service- Traci Hronek
Health and Human Service- Megan Myskewitz
Business and Professional- Tonja Schaff,
Education- Jona McNamee
Young Women of Tomorrow- Alexandria Harris
Creative Arts and Communication- Judy Pleskac
The group of women will be honored at the Airhost at a luncheon to be held on October 2, 2010.
