Sarasota Native named Florida Delegate for the 2010 American Image National Pageant

From multitasking to multitalented, this entrepreneurial leader, Kristie Kennedy from Sarasota, Florida has the heart of a thoroughbred that is determined to succeed in every area of her life. If you could describe Kristie Kennedy in one word it would be “tenacious”! Kristie Kennedy, Women’s Empowerment Speaker and Entrepreneurial Leadership Coach, is soaring high in life. She was recently selected as the Florida Delegate for the American Image National Pageant scheduled for September 11, 2010 in Charleston, SC. A graduate of Sarasota High school and Florida State University, she once struggled with academics but has now come to value the power of education and the innumerable opportunities that it presents for individuals who will embrace it. It is her strong desire to be a voice of hope and inspiration to the current generation largely distracted by social media and technological devices.

One of her mottos is that all things are possible to those who dare, who do, and who believe.In the words of Langston Hughes’ Mother to Son poem,“Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.” She has had to overcome insurmountable odds stacked against her from childhood to present. One of her most valuable lessons learned in the face of adversity is that there are only 2 choices in approaching adversities, either you be powerful or powerless!
