• Establish a presence online. This doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as a Facebook page or even just a blog. The goal is to have open communication channels. This will not only boost your company’s rank on search engines but your branding will be recognized online.
• Integrate Offline and Online Marketing and Advertising. When you integrate your two media channels, you up level your conversions and helps you build community. In other words, they join now and buy later.
• Have a great e-news with valuable, high content. I’m not speaking about having a written sales pitch. The opportunity here is to provide relevant information, adding another opportunity to position you as the expert. This also creates the like, know and trust factor.
• Build a strong list with the focus of giving good, high content, value to your potential clients, readers and subscribers. Over deliver and under promise.
• If you are speaking, publishing an article, tweeting, it doesn’t matter, always, have a “Call to Action”! This is by far one of the best, and least expensive marketing tools in your arsenal.

Remember growing your business is a journey. There is no such thing as a small idea anymore, you do not know how big that idea can really become. In fact, there are many people who came out with many such small ideas today, even much to their surprise and delight  they have found out that these ideas have turned out to be great ones which have made them very successful and filthy rich too.

The truth is that an idea, no matter how small it may look, could turn out to be a fabulous business idea. Look at our dear friend, Steve Jobs.

You start by studying the market. Do a lot of research. Find out what is hot in the market and what is absolute junk. Make a detailed record of the things that you discover are selling like hot cakes. Then, after you have collected a good deal of information, sit down by yourself, your Coach, Mentor, potential Business Partner or with friends and family members and share the data you have collected.

Have a detailed brainstorming session based on all the information that you have painstakingly gathered. Then narrow down your choices and select a few of the ideas that you and the people you are discussing things with, believe are the strongest ideas and the ones that have the best potential for you to make it as a success in the business world.

What do you do next?

Well after you have narrowed down your choice and you have a firm belief that you have a great idea that would definitely work well in the business market, your next step would quite obviously be to get your plan into action.

Now, you must clearly understand here that this is no simple step at all. Just because you believe you have a great idea about a great business, it does not mean that you have now made it in the world of business. It is just the first step that you are taking in many miles of steps that are to ensue.

Be prepared to run an obstacle course

At times, my life is overflowing with great abundance and blessings, but there are times when I must wait patiently. I can be patient because I am confident of what lies ahead.

In the world of networking, people believe what they see. And the more they see it, the more they believe it. So, you have to make it look like you are a star by telling people about all you do and all you have achieved and all that you plan to achieve in your chosen field of networking.

Put down a list of your achievements and your goals and talk about them and in this is really how to begin your creation of your 60 second infomercial.

Soothe your aching muscles and nurse them back to health with these natural remedies:

1. Take a break. If your sore muscles are a consequence of overexertion or exercise, continuing the strenuous activity won’t help ease the soreness. Therefore, you should take a break from the routine so your muscles get a chance to recover.

• If you start to experience soreness or stiffness during an activity, stop for a while.

2. Soak in Epsom salt or vinegar. Epsom salt contains magnesium sulfate and can replace lost magnesium in the body, thus helping to keep the muscles pliable and loose. Vinegar is very effective at pulling out lactic acid from the muscles, which contributes to soreness.

• Fill tub with warm water.

• As the tub is being filled, add two cups of Epsom salts or two cups of white vinegar.

• Soak the body, especially the sore muscles, for half an hour.

3. Use an ice pack. If possible, apply the ice immediately as soon as you feel the soreness. Keep the ice pack on the sore area for about 20 minutes and then remove it for another 20 minutes. Repeat the process a couple times. This process works great for muscle soreness due to injury. The ice helps reduce the inflammation and allows your body to repair itself.

• You don’t need to pay for a professional massage; all you need to do is gently rub the area yourself.

• Apply this technique right after you’ve applied the ice pack and you’ll get better results.

• Drinking lots of water can also help to relieve and prevent stiff, painful muscles.

6. Apply apple cider vinegar. Depending on the source of the soreness, you can do either a warm compress or a cold compress. Soaking the compress tool in apple cider vinegar is a great way to extract the lactic acid that contributes to sore muscles.

These home remedies are excellent for nursing your sore muscles back to health. Ignoring the soreness or disregarding it as something that will eventually pass may not be the best idea! Make every effort to heal the muscles before jumping back into your usual routine.

So instead of being original, STAND OUT, be OUTRAGEOUS.  Create your unique self which is different from the rest of the world.  Our OWN uniqueness is really what makes us different.  Step into it and get noticed for it and set you out from the crowds.

*Be Different:    Don’t strive to fall into “the normal”.  In fact, strive to be abnormal.  Do something people haven’t done before. Like in the movie, Katniss and Peeta stayed to themselves in their training and then used a unique strategy to stay alive; they were going to be star-struck lovers from District 12. And later in the Hunger Games, that saved their lives. There was a rule change, and they happened to get out together, instead of having to kill each other and only one or none coming out as The Victor.

Being different is a beautiful next piece for marketing your business. When you are following what other people are doing, you aren’t being different.  Being different means doing what others ARE NOT doing.  It is far better to be different than better!  People want to be intrigued and be aroused by curiosity.   It can be something simple but you have to do something to make the “difference.  It is perfectly OK to find out what is working and put your “twist” on it for you to be different.  GO BE DIFFERENT!

*Make a Plan and Work your Plan:  When the rules changed and two victors were allowed to be crowned, from the same district, Katniss and Peeta found each other and made a plan to WIN.  They didn’t just create a plan, they worked their plan and stayed together and took care of each other. They didn’t let fear get in the way of their plan.  They didn’t let the ego of the ability to go out a kill another tribute from another team to win faster.   They strategized together, stayed together and stayed stronger. Even when the rules of the game changed again, they stuck to their plan and stayed with one another.  When the Capitol tried to change their plan at the end, they took a risk and risked everything in order to stay true to each other and their plan for both of them to win.

Planning is one of the most important parts of growing your business.  If you don’t have a plan, you don’t know what to do or how to do things. Once you have made your plan, the next thing is to work your plan.  That doesn’t mean to get tired and give up or to say it is not working.  You obviously might have to make “tweaks” to your plan as you grow and move forward and the message here is to create your plan, work it and NEVER GIVE UP.  Go for the WIN!!

*Stand Up for What you Believe In, No Matter What!  At the beginning of the HungerGames,there was a draw in each district (or like what we refer to as a state).  And for District- 12, out of thousands, Katniss’ sister, Prim’s name was drawn to go into the vile Hunger Games for the girls side. Katniss was frozen with fear for the loss of her sister, but knew, deep down, that; she would not, nor could not let her sister go. So, she volunteered as tribute. She stood up for what she believed in, no matter her consequence (which would be, of course, an instant death in the Hunter Games) KatnissEverdeen stood up, did not let her sister go and took her place instead.

In business, we are confronted, I would venture to say, almost every day, where we could go either way with a decision we must make in our business and I don’t know about you, but I am always for the “right way”, based upon what I know at the time I make the decision.  There are times when people won’t agree with what you are doing, they might think it is the right path for you, but there is one thing that is certain, you have to follow your heart and do what is right for you and at times it will involve standing tall and strong like Katniss did and do what you believe in no matter what.  That is how strong I walk in my life and my business.  The internal conviction inside of me to know that no matter what, I will do the right thing and stand up for what I believe in.  If you are exercising this muscle inside of you on a continual basis, I invite you to get strong in your beliefs about yourself and your business and stand up, take action, no matter what.

*Do what you’re good at and WIN your game!  Of course we all have a special talent that we all use to help ourselves, and in The Hunger Games, Katniss had her talent as well. She was very good at climbing high up in trees, due to her strength, but light weight on her body. She had an AMAZING ability to shoot a bow and arrow and could shoot an animal in the eyes with an arrow every time in heavy bracken of the green of the forest.   She was able to shoot perfectly most times. So, going into the Hunger Games, Katniss’ best friend, Gale gave her advice; use your talents and you will have the biggest chance at winning. She listened to him, and what do you know- she did in fact win the Hunger Games.

So for you and your business, you want to find out what you are good at and monetize it.  If you don’t know how to monetize your talents, there is a process I go through with my clients/students to tap deep into those talents.  You can start tapping into what you are good at by writing down what you like to do.  What do you do without thinking about it?  What fuels you?  Where do you hang out?  These are just some thought provoking questions to start the discovery process.  Once you have discovered your strength (special talent) start refining it and figure the best way to monetize it in your business so you can help so many more people in our world do the same.

*Allies for Your Business:  In theHunger Games, Katniss’ found a little tribute and she joined forces with her and they teamed up together.  That little tribute, named Rue pointedup at a Tracker Jacker (which is equivalent to our yellow jackets) to Katniss.  Katniss climbed high up the tree and knocked it down, killing the other tributes.  She later got the weapon she needed from a dead tribute, (her bow and arrows).  Together, with different knowledge about this years’ arena, they blew up all their stocked up supplies, and created a diversion for the remaining tributes.  Of course Rue ended up getting killed, but Katniss took care of her favorite ally in the Hunger Games and WON, for her sister, Rue, and for her District.

The marketing message here is to get people to help you out in your business.  You can create partners or affiliates.  There are several ways, depending upon what resonates with you the most but you can’t do it alone and I don’t recommend you doing anything alone.  The more you help someone get what they want the more you get what you want.  It’s a revolving door of helping out and being of service. Get other people involved in your vision.  Do what you are good at and ask for help with the rest.

I choose my friends wisely. I surround myself with people who respect my values and encourage me to make responsible choices.

I avoid placing myself in situations where I could feel tempted to make irresponsible choices for the sake of impressing others. In the end, what matters is whether I remain true to my personal values.

I am free from the need to impress others because I am the only one who needs to be at peace with my decisions. Armed with confidence, I stand up to the negative effects of comparison.

Rather than being concerned with how others feel about my decisions, I make time for personal reflection and self-evaluation. I limit others’ ability to make personal judgments about me by keeping my decisions to myself.

I base my decisions upon what I believe. I make purchases based on what I need and can afford. My social interactions are based on honesty and integrity. I say what I mean and mean what I say.

In everything I do, I remain true to myself because rising in status, gaining friends or increasing income is incomparable to the joy of self-acceptance.

Today, I choose to accept myself just the way I am so that others can learn to accept me too. I embrace clarity, lining up my actions with my beliefs and rejecting deception.
